Our Story
Note from the Bride and Groom
Our story begins in 2018. The year Janeva and Tyrell were unofficially introduced to one another. Janeva and Tyrell were both single and never knew the other existed, until modern technology brought them to meet – a facetime call. However, this call was not meant for the two of them to meet. This was a call from Janeva to her friend who was hearing an earful from Janeva about one of her “dates”. After complaining about dating and men in general a voice comes through the phone which wasn’t her girlfriends voice, this voice came from a man. This man says “Hi, Janeva can I ask you a question?” then he proceeds to lean into to facetime call. Janeva was mortified that he heard her go on this rant about men, but that did not discourage this man as he proceeded to tell her what she deserved from a man and what length of efforts a man should go to when he has a woman like her. This man was Tyrell, little did she know, Tyrell was working on becoming her future husband from the moment he seen her on that facetime call.
From that day Janeva and Tyrell did not have any further contact with each other until he reached out to her via Instagram. They started to talk through social media until he asked her for her number. Once they exchanged numbers, they were inseparable, texting throughout the day until they were off work and talking over the phone all night until they fell asleep. After months of talking over the phone Tyrell asked Janeva to go out of town with him for his birthday, she hadn’t felt they knew each other long enough for an overnight trip to be their first date. However, when Tyrell came back in town, he didn’t waste any time making Janeva his top priority. Tyrell had always told Janeva she was the “woman of my dreams” and he has stopped at nothing to show her just that. They had their first date on April 20th, it was also on that day Tyrell asked Janeva to be his girlfriend. Fast forward to mid-2019 Janeva and Tyrell moved in together and began a life of young, passionate, and exciting roller-coaster of love. By the year 2021 Tyrell and Janeva purchased their first home and were engaged a month later during their housewarming gathering.
