Our Story
Note from the Bride and Groom
Brian and Katherine met October 30, 2018. A mutual friend (Heather Pirtle this is your shout out) introduced them. Although, she told each party a white lie that the other one was really interested and thought he/she was cute. We have since forgiven her.
Debate is still ongoing as to when we became official. Here are some of our favorite dates and trips that lead to this moment. Around Christmas Brian took Katherine to look at Christmas lights and to the Patriarch to hear a violinist play Christmas music, Thunder game Jan. 6, 2019, Valentine’s Day murder mystery dinner at Skirvin, Easter road trip to South Fork, CO, skiing at Wolf Creek, road trip to Mena, AR. (So he could ask my parents for their blessing), and the latest road trip to Washington D.C. where he proposed!!!
We are looking forward to all the road trips, adventures, and memories to come. We feel so blessed to have the love and support of our friends and family. We would be thrilled to have you join us as we start our next chapter in our lives. (Passports required 😉) We will throw a fiesta to remember! However, we know sometimes it is hard to get away. So please know that we are truly just grateful for your relationship and understand. (We will raise a toast to you)
As they said on Friends – we found our lobster!
